Oxford Lieder Festival
The Oxford Lieder Festival is an annual celebration of song that takes place in the last two weeks of October and features nearly 30 concerts by world class artists. As the name suggests, there is a focus on German song, especially music by composers such as Schubert, Mahler, Schumann and Brahms. There is an extensive programme of additional events aimed at professional and non-professional singers of all ages, including masterclass workshops, talks, lectures, and much more.
