Albrecht Dürer, Junger Hase (1502)

Albrecht Dürer (1471-1521) was born in Nürnberg in Bavaria and became a renowned artist in his twenties. He is particularly known for his woodcuts, and in particular this ‘young hare’. A sculpture in Nürnberg dedicated to Dürer is based on this woodcut.
